The Network In Action Difference

Networking Groups in Colorado Springs That Respect Your Time

Network In Action was built for established professionals who want meaningful connections instead of turning networking into a part-time job. NIA members save over 80 hours per year versus traditional weekly networking groups. Here's what makes NIA different.

Your calendar will thank you.

“I've been a member of Heather Blasnek's Network In Action group in Colorado Springs and have been impressed by the leadership she brings to the group. Heather does an outstanding job creating an environment where business professionals can build genuine relationships, exchange quality referrals, and grow their businesses. Unlike many networking groups, the meetings are structured, productive, and focused on helping members succeed rather than simply collecting business cards. Heather is professional, organized, and truly invested in the success of her members. She consistently connects people, encourages collaboration, and fosters a culture of trust and accountability. If you're a business owner or professional looking for a networking organization that delivers real connections and business opportunities, I highly recommend Heather and Network In Action.”

“Heather, with NIA Colorado Springs, CO is the best in the industry! What an absolute fabulous group she has built! Every meeting includes a different activity to get to know each other, I love how she focuses on building those relationships before talking about business in full. This queen deserves an award for how amazing she has done and is doing! She welcomes everyone with open arms and truly cares about others and their success and it shows. All in all, I give Heather Blasnek from Colorado Springs a 6 out of 5 in this review. 😁”

Straight Answers About Membership

  • Traditional networking asks members to spend 3 to 5 hours a week and recruit friends to grow the group, and the meetings tend to focus on the guests. NIA focuses meeting time on members, who get valuable information to help grow their businesses and relationships. The networking happens more organically.

  • Let's start with what's similar: only one person per industry. In just about every other way, we're different. Yes, you can expect referrals, but we focus much more on growing your business. We meet monthly instead of weekly, we use modern technology, and your group leader is a paid professional. They don't leave in the fall, and they're compensated (not volunteering) to keep growing your group. Members also get free software for collecting more five-star reviews, two professionally edited videos, a Google Business Profile consultation, a CRM system and monthly agendas.

  • You're welcome to join NIA and keep your other membership. The larger your network, the more value you bring to our members. If your other chapter has a problem with you joining a second industry-exclusive group, no problem: join NIA and note on your application that you're there for all the other benefits. In that case you're not required to pass referrals. You can still receive referrals, take in everything our monthly meetings offer, and keep enjoying your other group.

  • No. This is another difference between NIA and traditional networking. You have enough to do building your own business, so we take care of building the group. You're our client. You're always welcome to bring friends, but you'll never be required to. Most members end up bringing people anyway, because they want them to experience the group.

  • Every meeting includes a different activity to help you get to know the people in the room. Yes, it's usually a little silly. Yes, it works. Then we get into an agenda built around growing your business, and the referrals come out of relationships that are already there. You'll leave knowing people better than when you walked in.

  • Membership is a monthly investment, and we'd rather walk you through it properly than post a number without context. Schedule a 1:1 with Heather and we'll cover pricing, what's included, and whether your industry's seat is open.
